
WHITEWATER – The Colorado Department of Corrections announced Sunday that escaped inmate, Adam Loehr has been apprehended.
The 44-year-old Loehr escaped from the Delta Correctional Center in Delta County on Saturday, March 9th.
The DoC said he was apprehended without incident at approximately 12:30 p.m. Sunday near Whitewater, Colorado. Loehr was taken into custody by the Delta Correctional Center Search Team, who was acting on a tip that Loehr had been sighted near Whitewater.
Loehr was convicted in El Paso County of attempting to influence a public officer, criminal impersonation, substance abuse, and menacing.
