It's going to feel like Fall out there due to a strong cold front that passed overnight. We're going to see highs in the 70s and low 80s in the lower elevations, and gusty winds off and on all day. We'll see scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, but severe weather is not expected.
COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 75; Low: 52. Cool and windy at times today, especially in the early morning. We'll see a chance for spotty thundershowers in the afternoon and one or two showers possible overnight.
PUEBLO: High: 80; Low: 55. Cooler than normal with gusty winds at times today. There's a chance for spotty thunderstorms in the late afternoon and early evening, but most of the overnight hours look dry.
CANON CITY: High: 79; Low: 59. Cooler and breezy at times. We'll see spotty thundershowers in the afternoon and a stray shower overnight.
WOODLAND PARK: High: 73; Low: 46. Cool and breezy with spotty daytime showers or a weak thunderstorm. Overnight we could see a few spotty showers.
TRI-LAKES: High: 70s; Low: 40s. Like Woodland Park, cool and windy at times with spotty daytime showers or a weak thunderstorm. Tonight we could see a spotty shower.
PLAINS: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Warm and windy with a chance for spotty thundershowers in the afternoon and evening.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 60s; Low: 20s. Windy at times and cool today with a chance for spotty thundershowers in the afternoon and likely dry skies overnight.
Extended Outlook:
We're going to stay pretty cloudy on Tuesday with another chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. The forecast warms up by Wednesday, but we'll then cool back down on Thursday. Hot air takes back over from Friday through Saturday before another cold front on Sunday.
