Cloud cover and light winds will make it tough to warm up to our full potential today,l but we should still be able to push highs into the 40s and a few 50s in the plains today. Overnight we'll be cloudy and calm with lows in the 20s.
COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 50; Low: 28. Cloudy and a bit warmer with light southerly winds in the afternoon.
PUEBLO: High: 50; Low: 22. Partly sunny skies and a little warmer in the afternoon with light southwest winds.
CANON CITY: High: 51; Low: 30. Partly sunny and mild today with light winds.
WOODLAND PARK: High: 47; Low: 24. Cloudy and chilly with a light westerly breeze.
TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Cloudy and chilly with light winds and dry skies.
PLAINS: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Cloudy and cold over the plains where fresh snow from this week will still be melting.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Cloudy and breezy through the day with chilly afternoon temperatures.
MOUNTAINS: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Cloudy with breezy west winds and chilly temperatures.
Extended Outlook:
Friday is going to be warmer with stronger downslope winds coming off the mountains to our west. Highs tomorrow should be in the 50s and 60s in the lower elevations.
We'll see a cold front Friday night and early Sunday morning, and we'll also pull temperatures back into the 40s and 50s with dry skies. The ski areas will see snow Friday night through Saturday but we're dry looking here at home. The next best chance for snow in the Pikes Peak Region to Pueblo is next Wednesday and Thursday.
