Extended Outlook:
The monsoonal flow is in full effect. Thunderstorms will be with us for the next week at least the next week, but the chances will vary from day to day. A cold front will approach Colorado on Monday with will interact with all the moisture, bringing an increased chance for storms. On Tuesday and Wednesday, moisture will be present, but the energy needed to fire the storms up will be in short supply. By week’s end, chances will once again increase for Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will vary a few degrees for the next week, but overall, no major swings in the weather pattern – it’s a hot summer with August Monsoonal Flow!
