Today’s Forecast:
Temperatures will be about 15 degrees above average today and the day will be breezy across the region. Winds become strong tonigth and potentially damaging.

A high wind warning is in effect for the San Luis Valley, the Sangre De Cristos and wet mountains as well as the central eastern plains.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for the Sangre De Cristos mountains above 10,000 feet in elevation, where 4-6 inches of snow is possible through Monday morning.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 73; Low: 40. Breezy all day with very warm temperatures.

PUEBLO: High: 77; Low: 46. A very warm and breezy day ahead.

CANON CITY: High: 75; Low: 43. Windy and warm today, remaining just below high wind warning criteria tonight.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 61; Low: 30. It will be a windy day with comfortable temperatures.

TRI-LAKES: High: 60s; Low: 30s. Upper 60s today with breezy winds. Mid 30s tonight.

PLAINS: High: 70s/80s; Low: 40s. Upper 70s to low 80s today with gusty winds. Upper 40s tonight.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 70s; Low: 40s. Low 70s today and windy. Low 40s tonight.

Extended Outlook:
As winds increase overnight, a batch of snow and rain showers will move through the region, being mostly rain below 10,000 feet in elevation. This line of rain showers will dissipate in the plains by Sunday morning.
