On Wednesday, Meteorologist Alex O'Brien visited students in Colorado Springs to teach them about severe weather safety in Colorado. They learned about winter storms, thunderstorms, tornadoes, flash floods, and wildfires.
First, she met with the 4th and 5th graders at Rocky Mountain Classical Academy. Even with such a large group the students were awesome listeners and had great questions and comments.
Then, she visited the 3rd graders at Trailblazer Elementary where the students learned the weather dance and they had very creative ideas and questions for Alex.
