On Wednesday, Meteorologist Alex O'Brien visited the 2nd graders at Madison Elementary School in Colorado Springs.
The students were so excited for Christmas break coming up, and were talking about the forecast for a white Christmas this year with Alex.
Topics in today's presentation included winter storms, thunderstorms, tornadoes, flash floods, and wildfires. The students are now better prepared in case of severe weather with the knowledge of how to be safe and seek shelter.
They loved learning the weather dance/yoga today.
