On Wednesday, Meteorologist Alex O'Brien visited students at Encompass Heights Elementary in Colorado Springs.

First, the 3rd graders joined her, and then the 1st graders came for a presentation. The students learned about severe weather in Colorado. They watched weather videos and did an experiment that simulated hail in a thunderstorm.

All of the students were wonderful listeners and had great answers to the questions asked.
