Today, Meteorologist Alex O'Brien visited with students of all ages to talk about severe weather in Colorado.

First, she went to Coronado High School in Colorado Springs to speak with the chemistry students about meteorology and broadcast news as a career. They also discussed notable weather events like the Bomb Cyclone blizzard of 2019, the Fountain hail storms of 2018, and the Waldo Canyon Fire.

Then, she visited the kindergarten students at Ray E Kilmer Elementary in Black Forest. The students learned how to be safe during dangerous weather. They also learned the weather dance!
