Today’s Forecast:

Areas of blowing snow will cause travel concerns this morning, and we still have icy and snow spots from the light snow that fell overnight. Some of the heaviest snow fell in the southern mountains, but even the half-inch that collected in and around northern El Paso County is making for slick and snowy drives this morning.

We should see dry skies develop by lunchtime for most of the region, but there could be plenty of roads that stay slick and icy through tomorrow morning.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 30; Low: 15. Morning snow showers on the north side of town with little to no additional accumulation. We'll be windy most of the day and cold with clear skies by the end of the day.

PUEBLO: High: 35; Low: 10. Windy and cold with occasional morning flurries or non-accumulating snow showers. It'll be cloudy and windy most of the day with clear skies and very cold conditions overnight.

CANON CITY: High: 35; Low: 19. Areas of light snow and flurries in the morning with areas of snow and ice on the pavement. Most of today will become dry and breezy with clear skies overnight.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 23; Low: 9. Flurries or light snow showers early in the morning with snowy and icy roads. We'll be dry most of the day but cold with clear skies from the end of the day through the overnight.

TRI-LAKES: High: 20s; Low: 0-10. Snow showers with light accumulations early this morning and icy to snow roads. We'll stay cold and windy all day but with dry skies from lunch through the overnight hours. Additional snow accumulation this morning should stay under 1 inch.

PLAINS: High: 30s; Low: 0-10. Areas of blowing snow with wind gusts between 15 to 30 mph through the first half of the day. We'll see slick commutes and low visibility this morning, but we should see dry skies and lighter winds in the afternoon. Additional snow accumulation should stay between 0.5 to 1 inch.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 30s; Low: 10s. Snow showers and windy through the morning hours with little to no additional accumulation. We'll be dry this afternoon with clear skies tonight.

MOUNTAINS: High: 30s; Low: 0-10. We could see some flurries this morning around the Sangres and Wet Mountains but we should be dry by mid-morning. Icy and snow roads will likely stay that way all day today but sunny skies tomorrow will aid with melting.

Extended Outlook:
We'll be clear and calm tonight with very cold overnight lows. Wednesday and Thursday look dry but a few flurries are possible on Firday. The weekend looks sunny and dry for now.
