Today’s Forecast:
We have a chance for rain and thunderstorms today across southern Colorado, but don't get overly optimistic about soaking moisture. Showers and storms will start over the mountains around lunchtime and move east to the I-25 corridor and plains through the end of the day. Storms will be non-severe, and not everyone will get wet due to the scattered and spotty nature of the rain.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 81; Low: 50. Warm with building clouds and a chance for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, especially east of Colorado Springs.

PUEBLO: High: 87; Low: 52. Warm with sunny skies filing in with clouds and a small chance for an isolated t-storm at the end of the day.

CANON CITY: High: 84; Low: 53. Warm with building clouds and a chance for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 71; Low: 45. Nice temperatures with a chance of showers or a weak thunderstorm in the afternoon.

TRI-LAKES: High: 70s; Low: 40s. Beautiful temperatures with a chance of showers or a weak thunderstorm in the afternoon.

PLAINS: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Warm and mostly dry but a few scattered showers could wander into Crowley and Otero counties at the end of the day.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Warm with building clouds and a chance for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Extended Outlook:
We'll be mostly dry tomorrow other than a few scattered showers and thunderstorms over the mountains. We should see hotter temperatures through Friday with a nice cool down this weekend.
