Tonight's Forecast:
Tonight will be the first night that wind chill advisories are in effect. Keep yourself and your pets indoors. Dangerous wind chill values will reach -10 to -25 in the plains tonight. The most extreme wind chills in the negative 30s will be here for the weekend.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: -1; High: 6. Cloudy with snow.

PUEBLO: Low: -1; High: 8. Cloudy with snow.

CANON CITY: Low: 2; High: 12. Cloudy to start with some sun peeking out in the afternoon. Snow likely in the evening.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 12; High: 28. Increasing clouds with snow in the evening.

TRI-LAKES: Low: single digits; High: teens. Clouds with snow.

PLAINS: Low: negative single digits; High: single digits/teens. Very cold with snow possible all day.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: single digits; High: 20s/30s. Cold overnight, but warming a bit with the sun. Snow likely in the evening.

MOUNTAINS: Low: teens/20s; High: 30s. Staying sheltered from the arctic air, but it will be cooler. Snow will move in on Saturday evening.

Extended Outlook:
The temperatures bottom out Sunday through Monday morning. By that time the cold air will move into the mountains as well. Snow gradually taper off through the day Sunday. Do not venture into the cold weather if you can. If you need to be outside, wear many layers and cover all skin.
