TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: teens. Nice day then strong winds overnight with snow showers. 1-3" in accumulation by Sunday morning.
PLAINS: High: 40s/50s; Low: 20s. Warming to the upper 40s and low 50s today. A windy cold front arrives tonight with clouds and flurries with no accumulation expected.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 50s; Low: teens. Really nice today in the low 50s with the sun. Strong winds arrive with a cold front late tonight bringing light snow. A dusting to an inch is possible.
MOUNTAINS: High: 40s; Low: single digits/teens. Warm to start the afternoon with increasing clouds and snow showers this evening for the mountain tops. Light snow is possible through Sunday morning for mountain valleys.
Extended Outlook:
Sunday will be breezy, especially in the morning, and about 10 degrees cooler with sunshine returning. Monday and Tuesday look mild and dry with highs in the 40s and 50s. Wednesday and Thursday will be colder with the next potential snowstorm.
