PLAINS: High: single digits/teens; Low: negative single digits. Frigid and cloudy today with snow moving in this evening.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 20s/30s; Low: negative single digits. Staying below freezing today with clouds increasing and snow showers this evening.
MOUNTAINS: High: 30s; Low: single digits/negative single digits. Staying quite mild, relatively speaking, with some sun to start. Snow showers and very cold air move in later this afternoon.
Extended Outlook:
Snow will end Sunday and temperatures will be the coldest of this storm, with some areas staying subzero. Monday morning will be extremely cold to the negative teens. Cold weather and light snow are possible through mid-week, then we thaw on Thursday/Friday.
