Today’s Forecast:
The forecast is simple today, we're going to be hot and there will be leftover wildfire smoke. Highs today will be near records today in Colorado Springs and Pueblo with widespread 80s and lower 90s in the plains. Wildfire smoke will not be as thick as it was Wednesday afternoon, but it'll still be hazy out against the mountains.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 85; Low: 50. Hot and hazy from smoke today with record heat possible. The current heat record for today is 83 degrees.

PUEBLO: High: 90; Low: 42. Very hot with hazy skies from wildfire smoke with record heat possible. The current heat record for today is 90 degrees.

CANON CITY: High: 88; Low: 54. Hot and hazy today with light winds and elevated fire danger.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 77; Low: 44. Warm and hazy with a light wind and low humidity.

TRI-LAKES: High: 70s; Low: 40s. Warm and hazy with a light wind and low humidity.

PLAINS: High: 90s; Low: 50s. Very hot today and hazy at times with Red Flag Warnings along the entire Colorado/Kansas border or high fire danger.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Hot with light winds and hazy skies at times today.

Extended Outlook:
We'll be just about as hot on Friday as we get today with more haze in the sky. We'll probably tie or break heat records once again on Friday, with cooler weather coming back by Sunday and Monday. As of now, our rain and snow chance look best over the mountains Sunday and Sunday night.
