Today’s Forecast:
The forecast is pretty simple today: hot and dry. We're under a dominant high-pressure ridge and we won't see any moisture run through that pattern. Highs will be up in the 90s in the lower elevations, and smoke will probably be dense at times over the high country. Smoke will likely get thicker overnight through Saturday, especially in and around the mountains.

Extended Outlook:
Smoke and heat will be the biggest stories on Saturday, with highs in the mid-90s and a few triple digits. We'll stay hot and dry over the weekend, but an isolated storm is possible by Sunday. We're staying hot and dry early next week with rain coming back by next Wednesday or Thursday.
