Enjoy the last nice day in our long term forecast, cold and snow aren't far away! We're going to see highs in the 60s today with lots of sunshine and fairly light daytime winds. Clouds will increase overnight ahead of a cold front early Thursday morning.

A strong cold front will pass through the state overnight into early Thursday morning. We could see wind gusts along and east of I-25 blow between 20 to 40 mph at times, but not for very long. The winds will likely relax with gusts between 10-20 mph around lunchtime lasting through the afternoon.

MOUNTAINS: High: 50s; Low: 20s. Clouds move over the mountains this afternoon and we'll stay chilly but dry today and tonight.
Extended Outlook:
Thursday is going to be cold from our morning cold front with highs only warming to the 40s in the afternoon. We'll see snow arrive Thursday night and fall in waves through Saturday night. Snow totals look heaviest over the Sangre De Cristo and Wet mountains, but there could be a few inches along I-25, mainly in the Pikes Peak Region and Raton Mesa.
