Tonight's Forecast:
Mostly clear skies will persistent this evening across Southern Colorado as our weather will be influenced by high pressure to our west. This will produce light winds and calm conditions, with overnight lows seasonably cool for this time of the year.
COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 50; High: 82. Monday will be a near carbon copy of what we saw over the weekend, and it will be spectacular. Chilly morning lows might require a jacket, but prepare to shed those layers by the afternoon as highs warm into the lower 80s.
PUEBLO: Low: 48; High: 87. We'll see a great start to the week around Pueblo as it will be a sunny and dry Monday, with above average highs.
CANON CITY: Low: 52; High: 84. More gorgeous weather ahead in our Monday forecast, with warmer than average highs and light southeasterly breezes.
WOODLAND PARK: Low: 44; High: 74. A cool and pleasant morning on Monday will give way to a dry and warm afternoon as highs return to the 70s.
TRI-LAKES: Low: 40s; High: 70s/80s. Sunshine will be in full supply on Monday, which will lend itself to another gorgeous late summer afternoon.
PLAINS: Low: 40s/50s; High: 80s. Gorgeous weather returns to the Plains on Monday. It will be bright and sunny during the day, with light southeasterly breezes to 10 mph.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 40s; High: 80s. Great weather ahead for our Monday, with wall to wall sunshine and lower 80s for highs.
Extended Outlook:
A persistent ridge of high pressure will dominate the weather picture in Southern Colorado for the next few days, with cool nights and warm days. With a stable airmass in place, rain or snow is not likely to impact our region through the upcoming week.
