We're looking very hot across the forecast area today with mostly dry skies. Colorado Springs and Pueblo will be closer to heat records today, with highs in the 90s and lower triple digits. We could see an isolated storm try to form in Kiowa county with strong winds, but that chance is very low.

PUEBLO: High: 101; Low: 60. Very hot and sunny today with light winds in the afternoon. Drink extra water and take breaks when you're working outside.
CANON CITY: High: 99; Low: 63. Hot and sunny today with dry skies and breezy winds.
WOODLAND PARK: High: 83; Low: 52. Warm and dry today with sunshine and some afternoon cloud cover.
TRI-LAKES: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Hot, dry, and breezy with plenty of sun.
PLAINS: High: 100s; Low: 60s. Very hot and dry but an isolated storm might develop by Kiowa County. Most of the plains are just very hot, so drink extra water when you're working outside.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 90s; Low: 60s. Very hot and breezy with dry skies.
Extended Outlook:
Friday will be just about as hot as today but with more wind and temperatures a degree or two cooler. We'll be much cooler on Saturday but still probably dry. Rain chances come back from Sunday through the middle of next week.
