Extended Outlook:
Either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning a cold front will move into southern Colorado from the northeast. This will bring in better moisture and upslope flow, which will lead to widespread rain in the mountains. This brings an elevated burn scar flash flood threat. Some rain showers and thunderstorms will move into the front range and plains Sunday, with most of the activity remaining in the higher terrain.
