Today’s Forecast:
A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM UNTIL 8 PM FOR PUEBLO, EL PASO, TELLER, FREMONT, LAKE, AND CHAFFEE COUNTIES AND THE SAN LUIS VALLEY.

Humidity will drop less than 10% today and winds will gust up to 35-45 mph. Remember, a state-wide burn ban is already in place.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 90; Low: 55. Very hot today and likely breaking the record which stands at 87. Winds will be breezy.

PUEBLO: High: 98; Low: 53. Very hot today and likely breaking the record that stands at 93.

CANON CITY: High: 96; Low: 59. Very hot and dry today with gusty winds.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 77; Low: 45. Very warm today with gusty winds and dry weather.

TRI-LAKES: High: 80s; Low: 40s. Mid to upper 80s today with gusty winds.

PLAINS: High: 90s/100s; Low: 50s. Upper 90s and a few 100s today with breezy winds.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s/90s; Low: 50s. Upper 80s and low 90s today with dry weather and breezy winds.

Extended Outlook:
On Sunday a cold front will bring in a brisk and strong northerly wind which will take temperatures down at least 20 degrees. Highs will be in the 60s and 70s. The front will bring clouds and a chance of rain overnight Sunday, transitioning to light snow showers above 7,000 feet.
