Today’s Forecast:
We're going to be hot again today and with more smoke across the region. The winds will be gusty at times, and fire danger will stay elevated. We should be dry across the region, but a spotty storm or two is going to be possible across some of the mountains west of I-25.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 90; Low: 59. Sunny in the morning with clouds and heat coming back in the afternoon. Smoke will be most dense in the mid-morning and again this evening.

PUEBLO: High: 95; Low: 60. Very hot and sunny today with smokey skies most visible as you look west at the mountains.

CANON CITY: High: 93; Low: 61. Hot and dry with a light breeze at times today and smokey skies, especially mid-morning and again this evening.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 83; Low: 51. Warm and smokey with a low chance for an isolated weak shower or storm in the afternoon.

TRI-LAKES: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Dry and warm today with smokey skies in the mid-morning and early evening.

PLAINS: High: 90s; Low: 60s. Very hot today and dry with gusty winds in the afternoon and elevated fire danger.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Hot and windy at times today with dry skies expected.

Extended Outlook:
Tuesday looks very hot and dry, and it'll probably be the hottest day of the week. Storm chances come back from Wednesday through Friday of this week, with rain chances best on Wednesday and Thursday. As of now, the weekend looks mostly dry but hot across the region.
