The winds will be gusty in the afternoon meaning fire danger will stay elevated.

PLAINS: High: 60s; Low: 30s. Windy at times with increasing sunshine and dry daytime conditions.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 60s; Low: 30s. Warm and breezy in the afternoon with dry skies.
Extended Outlook:
We've got warm and dry conditions coming to the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs up in the 70s and 80s across the plains. A cold front will knock things back to the 60s and 70s on Thursday with gorgeous conditions over the weekend.
