The forecast is finally going to calm down this week, and we just look hot! We're going to see strong sunshine and dry, down slope west winds this afternoon. Those two factors are going to work together to get some huge heat going this afternoon.
COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 94; Low: 62. Hot, windy at times in the afternoon, and mostly sunny.
PUEBLO: High: 102; Low: 61. Very hot, sunny, and breezy during the daytime.
CANON CITY: High: 96; Low: 64. Hot and windy at times with plenty of sunshine.
WOODLAND PARK: High: 84; Low: 53. Very warm and breezy with dry skies.
TRI-LAKES: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Hot and breezy with dry and sunny skies.
PLAINS: High: 90/100s; Low: 60s. Very hot and a bit breezy at times with lots of sun.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 9s; Low: 60s. Sunny, windy, and hot.
Extended Outlook:
A cool front overnight will push temperatures back a few degrees for tomorrow, but we'll still feel very hot. Sunday will heat back up almost to the numbers we'll see today. There's a small chance for rain next Monday, mainly in Teller and El Paso Counties.
