TRI-LAKES: High: 30s; Low: teens. Cold today with lingering snow from overnight. The afternoon will be sunny and reaching the upper 30s.
PLAINS: High: 40s; Low: teens/20s. Upper 40s today with sunshine.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Mid 40s today with partly cloudy conditions and brief snow possible near the state line tonight.
MOUNTAINS: High: 30s/40s; Low: teens. The San Juans and higher terrain near the New Mexico state line will see flurries or light snow this evening. Most of the mountains will stay dry to the upper 30s and low 40s today.
Extended Outlook:
This weekend will be warm on Saturday, with 50s returning to the plains and mid to upper 40s for the mountains. Another cold front drops temperatures about 10 degrees on Sunday, to highs back in the 30s and 40s.
