Today’s Forecast:
Dense fog is likely today through the morning hours, especially in and around El Paso County and down south near Raton Pass. The fog will likely not break until the late morning, so drive slowly with our limited visibility. There will be morning showers out in the plains and a few flurries in the mountains, but most of the region will be dry this afternoon.

A last push of rain and snow is possible overnight in and around our mountains out west of I-25. We're not expecting much rain and snow, but what snow does fall could produce another inch or so over the mountains above 9,000 feet.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 48; Low: 38. Very dense fog and misty through the morning with no break in the fog until sometime closer to lunch. We should stay dry this afternoon with only a small chance of a sprinkle or drizzle late today and tonight. We will probably get more fog to develop overnight.

PUEBLO: High: 50; Low: 39. Cold and cloudy today with the chance for patchy fog in the morning, mainly on the drive up to Colorado Springs. We should stay dry today and tonight, but fog could develop overnight and early Friday morning.

CANON CITY: High: 49; Low: 39. Cold and cloudy with mostly dry skies today and tonight. There's a small chance for a sprinkle or drizzle overnight with fog that could develop overnight into Friday morning.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 45; Low: 31. Cold and cloudy today with a chance for a few flakes or a flurry in the early morning. We'll be cloudy and dry today but another flurry or a few flakes could fall again tonight with a chance for patchy fog.

TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: 30s. Very dense fog in the morning that will break around lunchtime with mostly dry skies in the afternoon. Fog could develop late tonight with a few sprinkles or snowflakes by early Friday morning.

PLAINS: High: 50s; Low: 40s. Showers move through in the morning but then we should stay mostly dry through the rest of the day. We could see patchy fog develop late tonight into early Friday morning.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40s; Low: 30s. Patchy fog south near Raton Pass in the morning with a chance for sprinkles and flurries overnight, but most of the rain and snow tonight should stay out west in the mountains.

Extended Outlook:
Friday will start cloudy but quickly get beautiful and nice through the afternoon and evening. We'll be beautiful this weekend with highs in the 70s and 80s. We will stay dry through next week.
