Extended Outlook:
The biggest story of the weekend is snow on Saturday!
Snow moves in tomorrow and finishes up early Sunday morning. This system is positioned to favor the southern half of our viewing area, particularly our southern mountains and I-25 from Colorado City to Raton Pass. pic.twitter.com/Xws8PASPfm

We should start seeing snow north of the Palmer Divide and Monument Hill area Saturday morning, but most of the snow in our area won't start falling until Saturday afternoon.
The snow will pick up quickly Saturday evening, and we should be dry by Sunday morning.
The heaviest snow is expected to fall in our southern mountains and along I-25 south of Pueblo. We should get enough snow in the region that pretty much every road that sees snow will be slick and dangerous to drive on Saturday evening.
We should be dry on Sunday and warmer through next week.
