Today’s Forecast:
The weather today is going to be pretty easy going compared to Tuesday! Under cloud cover, most of southern Colorado will stay dry today other than occasional snow showers over the Sangre De Cristos, Wet Mountains, and maybe some rain to snow in the Wet Mountain Valley.

Snow Tuesday:
Tuesday is going to be a weather alert day due to blowing snow and hazardous driving conditions. Snow will show up tomorrow morning, as will wind gusts between 20 to 40 mph out of the north. The combination of snow and wind could lead to blizzard-like conditions for the morning commute.

Snow totals will be highest at elevations of 7,000 feet and above. Even if your city or town is forecast to only see between 0-1 or 0-2 inches of snow, blowing snow could still lead to slick and dangerous travel tomorrow.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 61; Low: 31. Chilly under the clouds today with gusty daytime conditions.

PUEBLO: High: 64; Low: 34. Cloudy and cool today with a stronger breeze in the afternoon.

CANON CITY: High: 63; Low: 34. Cloudy and cool with dry skies and light daytime winds.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 53; Low: 24. Cloudy and dry with occasional strong wind gusts today.

TRI-LAKES: High: 50s; Low: 20s. Cloudy and cold with breezy daytime conditions are expected today along with dry skies.

PLAINS: High: 60s; Low: 30s. Cloudy and windy with mild daytime temperatures.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 60s; Low: 30s. Breezy and dry with cool daytime temperatures.

MOUNTAINS: High: 50s; Low: 30s. We'll see snow showers, some mixed with rain, along the Sangre De Cristos and Wet Mountains at times today, but mainly at elevations over 9,000 feet. There could be occasional sprinkles and flurries in the Wet Mountain Valley.

Extended Outlook:
Tuesday we'll see wind and snow across the region but we'll be dry Tuesday night. Wednesday will start out very cold with temperatures in the teens, warming to the 40s and 50s by the afternoon. Thanksgiving still looks chilly and dry for now but there's a chance for snow showers on both Friday and Saturday.
