Today’s Forecast:
The weather looks pretty standard for February in southern Colorado today. We're going to be cold, breezy, and we'll have clouds move off the mountains through the plains. We'll stay breezy overnight and lows will fall into the 20s.

Over the high country, snow will fall today through Saturday, leading to dangerous and slick drives through the mountains but great extra powder for the ski areas.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 43; Low: 21. Partly sunny, chilly, and breezy through the afternoon.

PUEBLO: High: 47; Low: 20. Thin clouds under the sun today with a light breeze in the afternoon and chilly temperatures.

CANON CITY: High: 46; Low: 24. Breezy and chilly with partly cloudy conditions.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 31; Low: 12. Cloudy and cold today with light winds and cold temperatures.

TRI-LAKES: High: 30s; Low: 10s. Partly sunny, cold, and breezy today.

PLAINS: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Thin clouds under the sun with a breezy and chilly afternoon.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Windy at times today and cold with partly cloudy skies.

MOUNTAINS: High: 30s; Low: 20s. Really windy over the mountains, especially out near the Saguache range where gusts could be around 50 mph.

Extended Outlook:
We'll keep warming up through the weekend with 50s on Superbowl Sunday. We'll see a cold front early next week, but a big cool down is expected later in the week as arctic air slips down the mountains.
