Today’s Forecast:
Today looks chilly, calm, and cloudy. It's kind of a standard early January day for southern Colorado, but that's not a bad thing. Overnight we'll clear some clouds out and allow for temperatures to fall into the teens by early Friday morning.

MOUNTAINS: High: 40s; Low: <10. Increasing cloud cover through the day with light winds and chilly afternoon temperatures.
Extended Outlook:
Friday looks to be similar to what we see today, just a few degrees cooler. We're going to get a lot colder on Saturday and snow is expected in the late afternoon and overnight hours.
Snow is on the way! We think it's going to favor areas south of Pueblo due to the upper level low closing off over the 4 corners and into New Mexico. I bet there could be many areas in Colorado Springs that stay at or below one inch from the current track, but we'll see! pic.twitter.com/QtUJmmWFuk

The system bringing our snow will allow for the heaviest accumulations to stay south of Pueblo and against our southern mountains. Driving conditions Saturday night and early Sunday morning could be rough. We should warm up and dry out through the beginning of next week.
