Today’s Forecast:
Today looks absolutely gorgeous, very similar to what we saw over the weekend! We'll have sunny skies with little to no smoke in the atmosphere along with pleasant and warm daytime conditions. The breeze will pick up at times today but not enough for Red Flag Conditions. Overnight we'll be clear and calm, a great night to keep the windows open.
Smoke will drift into the state tomorrow, most of that being a product of the California and Oregon fires. Smoke will probably get more dense by the middle of the week, and it'll be most noticeable in and around the mountains.
COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 82; Low: 51. Sunny warm and breezy.
PUEBLO: High: 87; Low: 49. Sunny, kind of hot with light daytime winds.
CANON CITY: High: 84; Low: 53. Sunny and warm with light winds.
WOODLAND PARK: High: 73; Low: 48. Breezy, sunny, and beautiful.
TRI-LAKES: High: 70s; Low: 50s. Gorgeous, breezy, and sunny.
PLAINS: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Hot and sunny with light daytime winds.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 80s; Low: 50s. Sunny, breezy, and warm.
Extended Outlook:
We'll be hotter tomorrow with highs in the mid 80s and lower 90s across the lower elevations. We'll have more smoke tomorrow, and as mentioned above, smoke will increase through the day. we'll drop a few degrees each day through the end of the week. There are little to no rain chances on the horizon.
