A warm and breezy end to the weekend for Southern Colorado

Tonight's Forecast:
Breezy early this evening, with decreasing winds expected for the overnight hours. Lows will be more mild tonight across Southern Colorado, only cooling down to the 50s for areas east of the mountains.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 55; High: 85. We're looking at a really warm end to the weekend across the Pikes Peak Region. Highs in the Springs will be more than 10 degrees above average for this time of the year.

PUEBLO: Low: 54; High: 91. The heat is on for the final Sunday of summer! Highs will warm back into the 90s, with light southwest breezes 10-15 mph.

CANON CITY: Low: 59; High: 88. Warm and breezy on Sunday, with not as much haze and smoke in the forecast.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 49; High: 75. Dry and warm on Sunday, with a nice and beautiful afternoon on tap for Woodland Park and Teller County.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 50s; High: 80s. Unseasonably warm on Sunday, with south/southwesterly winds up to 10-15 mph.

PLAINS: Low: 50s; High: 80s/90s. Hot and breezy on Sunday, with rainfall not expected.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 50s; High: 80s. Hazy sunshine and above average highs, with dry weather expected to close out the weekend.

Extended Outlook:
Rain chances will remain slim through Monday, with only a few spotty afternoon showers up across the mountains. By Tuesday, a weak cold front will bring areas east of the mountains better chances for rain, along with a few degrees of cooling through the middle of the work week.
