Today’s Forecast:
Today looks gorgeous outside compared to yesterday, but we'll still have that chill in the air, especially this morning. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s in the plains and we'll still be a bit windy out there. Overnight we'll be cold with lows in the teens and 20s but the winds will be light.
COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 47; Low: 24. Sunny and warmer but with gusty daytime winds.
PUEBLO: High: 52; Low: 15. Warmer and nice with sunny and breezy skies.
CANON CITY: High: 51; Low: 29. Sunny today and warmer with an occasional gusty breeze.
WOODLAND PARK: High: 39; Low: 20. Sunny and still chilly but with less wind compared to Wednesday.
TRI-LAKES: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Sunny and a bit warmer with windy daytime conditions.
PLAINS: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Sunny and crisp with breezy and dry daytime weather.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 40s; Low: 20s. Windy at times today, especially west in the mountains but warmer and sunny.
MOUNTAINS: High: 40s; Low: 10s. We're still going to be windy out in the high country but we'll remain warmer and dry.
Extended Outlook:
Christmas day looks fantastic with highs in the 50s and lighter winds. It'll be windy in the mountains Saturday but most of the plains should remain fairly warm with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. A cold front Saturday night will keep Sunday windy and cooler. We'll be dry this weekend but there's a chance for snow Monday night through Tuesday.
