Warmest air of 2019 arrives today and tomorrow

Today’s Forecast:
Get ready for some of the warmest air of the entire year today, especially out across Pueblo and areas east! We’re going got see lots of sunshine today but like usual, we’ll cloud up heavier in and around the mountains through the afternoon. There could be a few stray thunderstorms out over the mountains, especially along the Front Range by Teller County and over Pikes Peak. We’ll stay warm and dry tonight with mostly clear skies.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 82; Low – 52. Sunny and warm today with increasing afternoon clouds, light winds, and dry skies.

PUEBLO: High – 90; Low – 52.  HOT and mostly sunny today with light winds. Wear sunscreen!

CANON CITY: High – 85; Low – 54. Mostly sunny, very warm, and dry today with a few afternoon clouds.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 72, Low – 46. Sunny in the morning and cloudier in the afternoon with a few stray thunderstorms possible, mainly over the surrounding high terrain.

TRI-LAKES: High – 70s, Low – 40s. Sunny and warm today with increasing afternoon clouds, light winds, and dry skies.

PLAINS: High – 80s/90s, Low – 50s. HOT and mostly sunny today with light winds. Wear sunscreen!

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 80s, Low – 40s. Mostly sunny, very warm, and dry today with a few afternoon clouds.


EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Thursday will be even hotter than today, but with more wind in the afternoon to keep you cool at work. We’ll stay dry Thursday and Friday but with stronger winds Friday afternoon. A few showers are possible on Saturday, but the chances are best over the mountains and Pikes Peak region. Sunday looks mild and dry with rain possible again early next week.
