EXTENDED OUTLOOK:

High Pressure continues its hold in the South West United States, creating a westerly wind for Colorado, translating into a downslope effect and warm temperatures.  This trend will continue into the first half of the work week.  At the same time, this area of high pressure is keeping rain and snow to the North.  A mild weather pattern is in store for Southern Colorado for Monday and Tuesday, with highs both days in the lower 70s.  Clouds will increase on Tuesday as snow showers return to the mountains.  Colder and windy on Wednesday along and east of I-25 with rain showers and highs in the 50s.  Wind will stay with us on Thursday with mostly cloudy skies, but things turn around nicely just in time for the weekend.
