Tonight’s Forecast:

A moderate band of snow and rain is moving through the Colorado Springs and Monument areas this evening with snowfall rates of 1-2″/hour.  The showers will be short lived though and they will dissipate by 10pm, with lingering isolated rain showers on the Eastern Plains.  Clearing skies tonight with overnight lows in the mid to upper 20s.  Sunny and warmer on Sunday with highs in the 60s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 66; Low – 24. Patchy AM fog with afternoon sunshine.

PUEBLO: High – 70; Low – 26. Patchy AM fog with afternoon sunshine, and warm!

CANON CITY: High – 66; Low – 32. Sunny skies with afternoon clouds as well as light winds and warm temps.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 54; Low – 20. Partly cloudy skies with light winds and warming temps.

TRI-LAKES: High – 50s; Low – 20s. Sunny skies with afternoon clouds, light and warm temperatures.

PLAINS: High – 60/70s; Low – 20s. Mostly sunny skies with light winds and warm afternoon temperatures.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 60s; Low – 30s. Sunny skies with afternoon clouds.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:

A return to springtime temperatures on Monday and Tuesday as temperatures soar back into the 60s and 70s.  Next best chance of rain comes midweek as another system moves through Colorado, bringing snow to the higher elevations and rain to the lower elevations.
