Tonight’s Forecast:
Spectacular through Tuesday. The jet lifts northward, a ridge of High Pressure comes across to visit from Vegas to Colorado over the next 2 days, and down-slope wind all combine to bring early Summer-like weather! Records are definitely in the realm of possibility Monday & especially Tuesday.

Worth pointing out that, even though not meeting Red Flag criteria, fire danger will be pretty high in the afternoons, Monday & Tuesday, so please refrain from use of fire outdoors.

Extended Outlook:
Long-range computer model guidance still showing a big cool down from Wednesday through Friday…and Teller, Fremont and NW El Paso Counties…the possibility of some wet snow Wednesday night late…into early Thursday. Doubtful it would accumulate, after the warm weather here and still to come, anywhere east of the Pikes Peak Region. And, with each passing model run, the track is tending to move further north, which directs the cold air further north…so any snow there, would not likely accumulate. For the Front Range, it is mostly rain-showery Wednesday PM, before ending as wet flakes for some, early Thursday.

And on a final note, it appears the dry warmth builds right back in Sunday through Tuesday after that!
