Tonight’s Forecast:

A Pacific storm is moving in tonight, and through Friday and Friday night, departing Saturday morning. This storm will be weak, bringing scattered rain showers to the lower elevations any time on and off late tonight…in to early Saturday morning.

The next storm beyond was questionable and is now definitely trending into a no-go. Which means Monday is dry and warmer. And that leads in to the last topic…the warming trend. The overall pattern has the jet moving further north with the next 5-10 days, with the only cooler days ahead being days of clouds and precipitation. So, what I am saying is that, 60s will be commonplace next week, and 70+ will begin to happen, starting next week too.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 33, High: 53. Cloudy tonight. A few on/off rain-showers Friday.

PUEBLO: Low: 38, High: 58. Cloudy tonight. A few on/off rain-showers Friday.

CANON CITY: Low: 34, High: 58. Cloudy tonight…maybe a sprinkle. A few on/off rain-showers Friday.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 25, High: 42. Cloudy tonight. A few on/off rain or snow-showers Friday.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 28, High: 48.Cloudy tonight. A few on/off rain or snow-showers Friday.

PLAINS: Low: 40, High: 62. Cloudy tonight. A few on/off rain-showers Friday, maybe some thunder.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 38, High: 60. Cloudy tonight with a few spotty showers. A few on/off rain-showers Friday.

Extended Outlook: Clearing later Saturday, mid 50Fs for a high. Mostly cloudy skies for Sunday, still 50s to 60. The forecast has trended in the direction I anticipated, with mostly sunny skies Monday & Tuesday, warming to over 60 Monday and nearing 70 midweek.
