WEEK AHEAD: A few clouds tonight with lows in the 20’s and 30’s. MLK Day starts nice with some sunshine and above average temperatures. A cold front moves through during the second half of the day for another shot of winter. Temperatures will drop, winds will increase, clouds will develop, and snow will start to fall. Most of the snow potential looks to hold off until after the main evening commute as of now. Snow and wind will combine for low visibility and blowing snow overnight. Travel over the Palmer Divide will likely be impacted again. Most of the snow tapers off throughout Tuesday morning with winds improving by later in the day. Expect some slow downs to the Tuesday morning commute, especially over Monument Hill, with blowing and drifting still likely. Tuesday will be cold behind the front. Highs will try to reach the 30’s and the wind chill will be even lower. A quick rebound into the 40’s for the rest of the week with the next small chance for precipitation on Thursday into Friday.
