Today’s Forecast:
After a COLD start in the morning, the afternoon forecast will feel absolutely amazing! Highs, under fully sunny skies, should have no problem making it to the 50s for much of southern Colorado, and upper 40s in the mountains. Tonight we’ll slowly fill in the skies with clouds and the lows will fall to the 20s by Tuesday morning. We’ll stay dry today and tonight but snow to our west in the mountains is expected tomorrow.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 54; Low – 29. Sunny skies with a light wind and mild high temps.

PUEBLO: High – 57; Low – 20. Sunny skies with a nice breeze and warm high temps.

CANON CITY: High – 54; Low – 32. Sunny skies with a light wind and mild high temps.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 48; Low – 26. Sunny skies with a light wind and chilly high temps.

TRI-LAKES: High – 40s; Low – 20s. Sunny skies with a light wind and mild high temps.

PLAINS: High – 50s; Low – 20s. Sunny skies with a nice breeze and warm high temps.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 50s; Low – 20s. Sunny skies with a nice breeze and warm high temps.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Cloud cover follows a wave from the Pacific northwest tomorrow, but unlike the mountains, we’ll stay dry across southern Colorado. The next weather maker to watch comes Wednesday night as a light snow with very strong winds. As of now, accumulation looks pretty minimal, but the winds will likely be gusting into the 50 mph range and that would mean dangerous travel from low visibility. Light snow will clear out by Thursday morning but the winds will keep blowing through the afternoon.
