Big picture: double-barrel high pressures from Idaho down to Arizona bring dry weather, and once they slip overhead and to our east, they also bring warmer temperatures.

Forecast: High temperatures hold steady for Sunday, but move up to well above average for Monday & Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

Any precipitation? Nope, not until next Thursday. It appears to be a bit too far into Kansas to give us a bunch of snow, and subsequent computer model simulations trend towards less, not more snow. Thursday will be windy & colder though.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 20, High – 43.  Clear then partly cloudy tonight. Sunny Sunday.

PUEBLO: Low – 18, High – 46.  Clear then partly cloudy tonight. Sunny Sunday.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 14, High – 35.  Partly cloudy tonight. Sunny Sunday.

TRI-LAKES: Low – 16, High – 39.  Partly cloudy tonight. Sunny Sunday.

PLAINS: Low – 22, High – 47.  Clear then partly cloudy tonight. Sunny Sunday.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 19, High – 43.  Clear tonight. Sunny Sunday.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK: Warming up to the 50s Monday, nearing 60F Tuesday, turning colder Thursday with wind, and a chance for snow.
