Saturday Morning Weather: Great start to Fall

Fall begins at 7:54 pm this evening an while yesterday was cooler, today will be a summery day as we head into the new season. Sunshine will be abundant today with warmer temperatures. Highs will be in the 80’s for most areas. Winds won’t be an issue, mainly around 5-10 mph, occasionally close to 15 mph. Clear and cool tonight with lows in the 40’s and 50’s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 82; Low – 50. Sunshine today with warmer temperatures.

PUEBLO: High – 88; Low – 50. A warmer day with tons of sunshine.

CANON CITY: High – 67; Low – 33. Sunny with warmer temperatures.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 67; Low – 33. A warm day with lots of sunshine.

TRI-LAKES: High – 70’s; Low – 40’s. Sunny and warm for your Saturday.

PLAINS: High – 80’s; Low – 40’s. Much warmer and sunny. 

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 80’s; Low – 50. Sunshine and warm temperatures.

NEXT WEEK: Another beautiful day for the first full day of Fall with sunshine and highs in the 80’s and 90’s. A beautiful start to Monday, but a few disturbances will be impacting us for the first half of the work week. These will bring cooler temperatures and more active conditions. Highs on Monday will be in the 70’s and 80’s with a chance for isolated showers/storms, mainly during the latter part of the day. Temperatures cool into the 60’s and 70’s for the middle of the week. Tuesday will again present the chance for areas of shower/storm activity before we look to dry out for the rest of the week. Temperatures return to the 70’s and 80’s by Friday. As skies dry out and temperatures, winds will be breezy at times throughout the second half of the week.
