Skies will clear of any remaining fair weather clouds from the afternoon, this evening…and that will provide excellent viewing for showers tonight. The same can be said for the next few nights, matter of fact.
A large area of high pressure over Wyoming and northern Colorado is setting the stage for several nice days, with a northeast wind (especially aloft), beating back any mountaintop storms that could form. That will continue, until the high moves far enough east to lose that influence…which occurs somewhere around Tuesday or Wednesday.
One caveat…the extreme eastern and extreme southern borders…there may be a later day t-shower starting as soon as Sunday afternoon, so just know that.
