Weather Alert Day: A few strong to severe storms this evening

Tonight’s Forecast:
Showers and storms will be around through this evening. Some of those could be on the strong to severe side with heavy rain, hail, and strong winds. Burn scars will again be at risk for flooding if they receive heavy rain. These storms end late this evening with overnight lows in the 50’s and 60’s. 

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 33, High – 67. Areas of showers/storms through this evening. Some could be strong to severe. Hot tomorrow with pm clouds. 

PUEBLO: Low – 33, High – 67. A few potentially strong showers/storms through this evening. Hot and dry tomorrow. 

CANON CITY: Low – 33, High – 67. A few showers/storms through this evening. Hot and dry Wednesday.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 33, High – 67. Showers and storms through this evening. Warm with pm clouds tomorrow.

TRI-LAKES: Low – 50’s, High – 80’s. A few showers and storms possible through this evening, some could be strong to severe. Warmer and dry Wednesday. 

PLAINS: Low – 60’s, High – 90’s. Areas of showers and storms this evening and early tonight. Some could be strong to severe. Hotter and drier tomorrow.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 60’s, High – 90’s. Showers and storms will be around through this evening. Hot and dry Wednesday.


REST OF THE WEEK: Hot and dry conditions take over for the next couple of days. Highs climb into the 90’s for most areas on Wednesday with a few pm clouds. Hotter still on Thursday with near record highs in the 90’s and 100’s. Shower and storm chances return on Friday and continue into next week. The return of moisture will also come with slightly cooler temperatures, mainly in the 80’s and 90’s for the weekend.
