Today’s Forecast:
Southern Colorado had a busy day of severe weather with hail along the Palmer Divide, heavy rain in the plains, and even a rotating super cell just off Powers and Dublin in Colorado Springs! Today, with humid air left in place from storms Tuesday, we could see a few isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the eastern mountains, Palmer Divide or Raton Mesa area. Despite the weak rain chances that exist today, most of us will likely stay dry and beautiful. After highs in the 70s and 80s this afternoon tonight should cool into the mid to low 50s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 78; Low – 51. An isolate thunderstorm is possible this afternoon if anything kicks off the mountains west of the city or up near the Palmer Divide, but chances are better that we’ll stay dry today and tonight.

PUEBLO: High – 86; Low – 56.  Warm and beautiful today with a steady afternoon breeze and sunny skies.

CANON CITY: High – 83; Low – 56. Nice and beautiful today with a steady afternoon breeze and sunny skies.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 69; Low – 44. Gorgeous today with only a very small chance for an isolated thunderstorm in the afternoon near the highest terrain.

TRI-LAKES: High – 70s; Low – 40s. An isolated shower is possible along Monument Hill but better chances exist closer to the Palmer Divide. Despite the small chance for rain it’s more likely the Tri Lakes area will stay dry and beautiful.

PLAINS: High – 80s; Low – 50s. Warm and beautiful today with a nice afternoon breeze and plenty of sunshine.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 80s; Low – 50s. An isolated storm is possible near the Raton Mesa or eastern mountain slopes this afternoon but most of the afternoon should be dry and beautiful.
