Today’s Forecast:
A somewhat rare, fairly intense mid-May storm in extreme northeastern Colorado is slowly easing off to the northeast and away, so the moisture on our side is going to slowly evaporate with time. So, scattered light showers this Saturday evening will quickly peter out…and there will probably be just enough left Sunday afternoon…to combine with the increased sunshine (heat), to fuel a couple scattered light showers. Beyond that, the mountain areas may see a sprinkle Monday & Tuesday afternoons…but you get the point. Moisture is going away and the temperature is warming up.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 38, High – 62. Light shower early, then partly cloudy to clear. Chilly. Sunday, sun & clouds, perhaps a later-day light shower.

PUEBLO: Low – 40, High – 66. Light shower early, then partly cloudy to clear. Chilly. Sunday, sun & clouds, perhaps a later-day light shower.

CANON CITY: Low – 42, High – 65. Light shower early, then partly cloudy to clear. Chilly. Sunday, sun & clouds, perhaps a later-day light shower.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 32, High – 54. Light shower early, then partly cloudy to clear. Chilly. Sunday, sun & clouds, an afternoon light shower or two.

TRI-LAKES: Low – 35, High – 58. Light shower early, then partly cloudy to clear. Chilly. Sunday, sun & clouds, an afternoon light shower or two.

PLAINS: Low – 44, High – 70. Light shower early, then partly cloudy to clear. Chilly. Sunday, sun & clouds, perhaps a late-day light shower.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 42, High – 66. Light shower early, then partly cloudy to clear. Chilly. Sunday, sun & clouds.

NEXT WEATHER MAKER: No widespread storm  in sight, next weather-maker of note, probably not until next weekend.
