Monday Evening Forecast: Cold Front Overnight Brings Changes

Tonight/Tomorrow Forecast:
A few stray showers/storms this evening with temperatures staying mild. A cold front will move through the area tonight around/after midnight bring gusty winds as it passes. Some gusts over 25 mph will be possible. Lows tonight will depend on the timing of the front but will generally be in the 30’s and 40’s. Could have a few isolated rain/snow showers early Tuesday morning, especially around the Palmer Divide. Tuesday will be much colder with highs only in the 40’s for most areas. Winds will stay breezy from the north to make it feel even colder. A better chance for rain/snow showers during the afternoon and evening. 

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 38 High: 43. Isolated shower/storm early this evening. Windy overnight as a cold front moves through. Isolated early morning showers, better chances in the afternoon/evening. Much colder and breezy

PUEBLO: Low: 44, High: 51. Mainly dry this evening and overnight. Cold front blows through tonight. Colder and breezy Tuesday with isolated pm showers.

CANON CITY: Low: 33, High: 67. Breezy tonight as a cold front moves through. Possible stray morning shower, but better chances for the afternoon/evening. Colder and breezy.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 33, High: 67. Windy as the front moves through tonight. Some areas of rain/snow early Tuesday morning. More abundant rain/snow activity in the afternoon/evening. 

TRI-LAKES: Low: Near 30, High: 30’s. Windy as a cold front moves through overnight. A few rain/snow shower early Tuesday morning becoming more abundant by the afternoon/evening. Colder and breezy.

PLAINS: Low: 40’s, High: Near 50. Cold front moves through with gusty winds overnight. Colder and breezy on Tuesday with a chance for a pm shower.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: Near 40, High: 40’s. Front passes overnight with gusty winds. Isolated am shower possible. More abundant rain/snow showers in the afternoon/evening.


REST OF THE WEEK

Clearing skies for Wednesday with temperatures warming into the 60’s. 60’s to low 70’s for the rest of the work week. 70’s and even 80’s as we get into the weekend. Winds will generally be light to breezy with no gusty conditions for the rest of this week. We’ll have a small chance for mainly convective showers/storms on Thursday. These will be very isolated. Next chance for moisture could come on Saturday, but it’s looking very disorganized so far.
