Southern Colorado | Always Watching Out For You

How’s our snow so far?

COLORADO – The mountains and ski resorts have had an impressive start to the season. Resorts like Loveland and Breck have already recorded over 130″! That snow hasn’t been as abundant for the lower elevations.

In Colorado Springs, we’ve hat 8.3″ of snow. That’s still about 1.6″ below average. Pueblo is also running below average with 5.2″ so far. These totals are for the airports of both cities, where the official measurements are recorded. Areas north and west of the Colorado Springs Airport have seen more snow that what was actually recorded at the airport.

Both of these airports have already had more snow than this time last year. Back in 2017 we were only at about 1.5″ for each location. We’re already off to a better start this winter and we’ve still got our snowiest months ahead. Winter officially starts in 10 days!
