COLORADO SPRINGS — The U.S. Air Force Academy will light up the sky over campus Friday night as they put on a special show.
The Academy will show off the hard work of some of its students by using 500 drones to tell a visual story.
That's this Friday, Nov. 1, from 8:00 to 8:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
Base residents and visitors need to park and stand in front of the Cadet Field House to watch. Cadets, faculty, and staff can stand at the northeast corner of the Terrazzo along the Air Gardens for the show.
All traffic should enter through the North Gate, exit 156 off I-25.
The Academy reminds anyone who is interested in attending to arrive early to find a parking spot, and to dress for winter weather conditions.
In light of recent enthusiasm for Area 51, we can neither confirm nor deny if spectators of the FREE Drone Light Show will witness an unidentified flying object tomorrow night -but they'll definitely see a UFO!
