Storm Safe is wrapping up the school year with talks on the Plains. The last stop was Fowler Elementary.
Meteorologist Jessica Van Meter stopped in Fowler, which is out in Otero County.
She talked with about 55 4th and 5th graders about the winter storms, severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, and floods we can see here in Colorado and how to be safe in each situation. They had a lot of great questions for Jessica and even made some awesome signs for her visit.
This was the last Storm Safe stop of the year. So have a safe summer kids!
